How Thirsty Are You?

Have you ever heard the saying, “You can lead a camel to the water but you can’t force it to drink?” I have a friend who has been struggling trying to workout and make better lifestyle choices. In this New Year, SHE DECIDED to make changes in her life to become healthier. I was excited for her and wanted to support her in this journey. She lives out of town and I knew she didn’t have a strong support system, so I offered to Skype with her on the days she wanted to workout. She liked the idea and we’ve been Skyping for a month now! She’s even thrown in extra days and activities on her own on the days we don’t Skype!

I asked that question earlier in this blog because my friend has always had the “tools” to workout and to have a healthier lifestyle, but SHE had to make the decision that it was time to start HER journey. We have gyms, probably some free weights at home, videos, You Tube video access, etc., to get tips and workouts. But, it’s not until YOU are thirsty enough to want to make the decision to workout and make lifestyle changes, is when you can quench your thrist! So how thirsty are you?…….Happy Drinking! (water that is)
